Home Winterproofing Program

Enbridge Gas Home Winterproofing Program aims to lower natural gas bills by providing eligible participants with a free in-home energy assessment and free energy-efficient upgrades. These upgrades include insulation, draft proofing and a smart thermostat.

Energy Affordability Program

The Save On Energy Energy Affordability Program is designed to improve energy efficiency in qualified households and help manage their energy usage more effectively, all free of charge! Ontario residents who are responsible for paying their monthly electricity bill as a homeowner or as a renter may qualify for this program. Residents of social housing who do not pay for their electricity bills may also qualify for this program.

There are two types of support available:

Comprehensive and Energy Saving Kits. Depending on your eligibility, you may qualify for a free in-home energy assessment or a free kit filled with a variety of energy-saving measures delivered to your home.

Who is Eligible?

Eligibility for the Energy Affordability Program and the Home Winterproofing Program are based on…

a) Household income

OR

b) An individual’s receipt of a qualifying eligible benefit

  • Allowance for the Survivor
  • Guaranteed Income Supplement
  • Allowance for Senior
  • Ontario Works
  • Ontario Disability Support Program
  • Ontario Electricity Support Program
  • Health Smiles Ontario Child Dental Program

OR

c) Received a Low-Income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP) grant or was part of the Ontario Electricity Support Program (OESP) in the last 12 months.
