Home Weatherization Program
Since 2012, Ecofitt has operated the Home Weatherization program on behalf of Union Gas for low- income participants throughout Ontario. As the primary contractor for this program, Ecofitt oversees the customer experience from application through to project completion. Our team processes participant applications, coordinates energy auditors to perform comprehensive home energy audits, oversees subcontractors, and responds to customer inquiries. With an average of nearly 800 homes retrofitted annually, Ecofitt has been able to process nearly 4,800 applicants annually. In 2016, the program achieved 125% of the projected energy savings target. Overall Ecofitt has reached almost 6,000 program participants throughout the duration of the program.
